John Kim, D. Min.

Vice President for Asian Student Affairs

Rev. Dr. John Kim is adjunct Instructor of Asian Students at Beulah Heights University and has been affiliated with 8 different colleges since 1967. He spent about 23 years in pastoral ministry for Korean Immigrants in Atlanta, Georgia as well as 7 years teaching graduate level seminary courses. He was Dean of Graduate Studies at Atlanta Bible College & Seminary before coming to BHU where he graduated in 1983.

He has conducted over 13 seminars on marital topics (including divorce) in the US and Seoul, Korea. He wrote a book that was published in Korean titled Happy Marriage Life in 1997.

He is the father of four children including one adopted son, all of whom graduated from Emory University except for one who is currently a senior at Georgia State University. His wife, Maria Kim, has been a Registered Nurse at Emory Hospital for 19 years. Rev. Dr. Kim teaches courses on Marriage and Family, Christian Parenting, The Life of Christ, Urban Evangelism, Apocalyptic Literature, Old Testament Literature, New Testament Literature, Isaiah & Jeremiah, and Systematic Theology.
